The main reason I booked it was for the 35% discount given by AAA. This hotel is horrible. Cleanliness is not important to the managers or employees. First off, the building should be demolished. The ventilation is poor. If the thermostat in your room is not at 65, moisture collects causing the room to sweat. Water collects on the floor and walls. You can smell the mold and mildew in the rooms. The walls and ceilings are damaged because of moisture accumulation over time. The “clean towels” had an odor to them. Luckily, I’d brought some towels from home and used them to wash with. My room key stopped working. The hotel staff do not clean your room while you are staying there. No clean towels. No fresh sheets. No clean toilet or tub. I’d bought a phone charger to use in my room while I was there. It cost $32. The moisture collection in my room destroyed the charger. After that, and the overall condition of the room, I decided to leave early. I alert the front desk attendant of my decision to check out early, and instead of being understanding, I get argued with about leaving. I asked for a refund for the night I was not going to use and was basically given the run around. Stay away from this hotel!!
