Near to the Theater District and around the corner from Ninth Avenue pubs and eateries, this lively hotel features spacious, Art Deco-inspired guest rooms and baths. Central Park is a short walk away. The classy piano bar off the lobby is a welcome touch, as the best of Broadway is but a leisurely stroll from the hotel. Smoke free premises. 295 units. 11 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

The hotel was comfortable and clean. I felt safe. The location was great. It is very close to Times Square and so many other attractions.
Although the location and the staff were great, the room and especially the bathroom are in desperate need of ventilation. You can see mold collecting at the corners of the bathroom and just outside the bathroom. As soon as we walked in, we could smell the dampness and mold in the room. After a shower, it was impossible to use the mirror. Ventilation is needed in room 605!
The hotel is perfectly located. Walking distance to Times Square and most Broadway plays. Complimentary breakfast was great but somewhat crowded. I appreciated that coffee was available all day long. On the negative side the hotel is dated. Major tip . . higher room floors will give you better access to the elevators. Reason being that people get on the elevator and by the time you reach the lower floors the elevator is full.
Great location. Dirty drapes. Disgusting stairway landing. The bathroom had worn furnishings that could have been touched up. I had to call twice for the toilet to be fixed so that water would not continuously be running. Inappropriate wall hangers for towels and especially washcloths. A detached bathtub stopper. An unsatisfactory, routine breakfast that lost its appeal during our 5-day stay.
