An offshoot of the 1904-opened Little Italy eatery, this late 20th-Century established Long Island outpost is the bonafide real deal. Fresh seafood, meatballs in sweet tomato sauce, delectable veal and a “to die for” clams oreganata all come in family-sized portions which are fairly reasonably priced given the presentations. Lunch specials will offer deals which are among the best in the metropolitan area. Service is upbeat and eager to please. The restaurant gets busy so it is best to reserve.
