Home to nine unique courses of varying difficulty level, this high ropes park in Interlaken is a nature lover and thrill seeker’s paradise. Adventurers can experience more than 120 unique physical challenges across the park’s treetop ziplines, bridges, and swings, while little ones can have a go on the family-friendly Butterfly Walk.
The basics
Admission to the park includes equipment, instruction, and unlimited stay, and you’ll round three hours to get around all the routes, which leaves plenty of time to immerse yourself in Interlaken’s other natural highlights. The region is well known for its rich agricultural heritage, making dairy visits and rural hikes very popular. Lake Thun and Lake Brienz are also major draws, often featuring along with Adventure Park Interlaken on day tours of the region.
Things to know before you go
- Wear outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes if you plan to complete the courses.
- Parts of the treetop route reach up to 75 feet (23 meters) high.
- There is a minimum height requirement of one meter (3.3 feet) on the adventure course.
- Bathroom facilities and a small cafe can be found on site.
How to get there
The park is a 40-minute walk from Interlaken Ost station and a 15-minute walk from Interlaken West. Train connections to Interlaken from Bern, Lucerne, and Zurich Airport are regular, though by car or coach the journey takes a little less time. The park has its own sizable parking lot.
When to get there
Adventure Park Interlaken is an all-weather attraction, making it a great way to spend an otherwise overcast, grey day in Interlaken. Between November and March, the park only opens on request.
