Dana Campbell Vineyards
Ashland, OR
On the outskirts of Ashland, Dana Campbell Vineyards is a great stop if you're looking for a low-key place to sip wine while taking in beautiful views. Here you can sample wines made from a variety of grapes grown on-site, including tempranillo, malbec, mourvèdre, and viognier.
The basics
Most visitors come to the vineyard to do a tasting, either in the spacious tasting room with picture windows that look out to the countryside, or out on the expansive patio. Three different wine-tasting flights are offered, plus a small menu of snack options that range from charcuterie boards and cheese plates to meatballs and bruschetta.
Visit Dana Campbell and a few other wineries on a wine-tasting tour of the area to get a good introduction to Rogue Valley wine.
