A rococo palace turned art and culture museum, Ephraim-Palais is as much an attraction for its striking building as for its exhibitions. Ephraim-Palais is located on the River Spree in the central Berlin neighborhood of Mitte, at Poststrasse 16. The museum is a short walk from the U-Bahn stop at Bhf Klosterstrasse or the S-Bahn and U-Bahn at Alexanderplatz. Nearby attractions include the Zille Museum and the Markisches Museum.

When to get there

The museum is open Thursday through Sunday (and closed Monday through Wednesday). Hours are from 10am to 6pm.
