The Adliswil-Felsenegg cable car is part of Switzerland’s transit system, meaning Swiss Travel Pass and Zurich Card holders can travel to Felsenegg for free. • Bathroom facilities are available at all stations.
• Bicycles can be taken on the cable car during less busy hours but require an extra ticket.

How to get there

The lower Adliswil-Felsenegg cable car terminus is around a 10-minute walk from Adliswil’s main railway station, which can be reached from Zurich Station in 15 minutes via the S4 train. Limited free parking is also available at the cable car station.

When to get there

Switzerland’s famously efficient mountain transit system is subject to routine checks and updates, so it’s worth checking whether the service is running before you arrive. A slightly reduced service operates over winter, while in summer return trips continue well into the evening, ensuring striking sunset and after-dark views across Zurich.
