Fleamasters Flea Market

4135 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Fort Myers, FL, 33916

More than 400,000 square feet of shopping space has made Fleamasters Flea Market a must-visit for bargain hunters. Opened in 1986, this sprawling sales floor in Fort Myers is lined with 900 hundred vendor booths selling more than 1.3 million items, including food, goods, jewelry, and antiques. Expect rare finds and new items as you peruse the ever-evolving shops.

The basics

The first rule of the Fleamasters Flea Market is to grab a vendor map and a market directory. While it's not required, you will use this resource more than you’d expect. The floor is built out like a grid with corresponding color-coded aisles and letter-designed rows. As if retail therapy isn’t enough of a reason to visit, the Music Hall at Fleamasters Flea Market features live events and performances throughout the year.

Things to know before you go

  • You can purchase a single-day vendor space to sell your items.

  • Multiple food stands serve food throughout the day.

  • The flea market is accessible for people with limited mobility and has wheelchairs/mobility scooters available.

How to get there

Fleamasters Flea Market is at 4135 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard. Dr. MLK Jr Blvd runs west straight into the heart of Fort Myers, making it easy to get to Fleamasters Flea Market via car, rideshare, or taxi. Bus routes Nos. 20 and 100 stop at Fleamasters Flea Market, though it’s also accessible via bicycle if you want to avoid public transportation.

When to get there

Fleamasters Flea Market is only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so you’re limited to weekend shopping. Unless you’re content seeing a few vendor booths and leaving empty-handed, it’s best to arrive early in the morning so you can take your time browsing each shop. With so many booths packed with merchandise, you’ll need at least two hours for your visit.

Shop the River District

Although the Fort Myers River District doesn’t usually host garage-sale-style events, it’s still a great place for bargain hunters. The Goodwill Boutique is an excellent find for bargain hunters, while the other mom-and-pop shops across First Street offer more than window shopping. Visit for the monthly art or music walks, where local vendors are often present.
