From College Green, head west along Dame Street and pass Christ Church Cathedral. Continue along Thomas Street until reaching the brewery entrance at St. James’s Gate. You’ll experience the smallest crowds if you visit in the morning. A morning visit is probably best for those more interested in the history than the stout tasting.

To avoid the crowds, visit earlier in the week. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are noticeably less crowded than Thursday through Sunday. One exception is Bank Holiday Mondays, which tend to be crowded.
