Hard Rock Café Pittsburgh
230 W. Station Square Drive, Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA, 15219
What began as one American café in London has spread around the world. Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh offers the classic food and rock ’n’ roll atmosphere found in the franchise’s many restaurants. With an industrial interior and outdoor patio, the eatery offers a comfortable spot to grab a bite. Plus, its exposed-brick stage hosts live entertainment on a regular basis.
The basics
While the bar features specialty cocktails, Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh’s menu has burgers, chicken wings, nachos, and potato skins to start. Entrees range from fresh salads, sandwiches, and hickory-smoked barbecue specialties. Memorabilia on display includes costumes from Elton John, Elvis, and Michael Jackson, plus instruments once played by The Who and Stevie Wonder. There’s even a handwritten draft of lyrics by Bob Marley. Frequently the space holds open mic nights and battle of the bands events.
Things to know before you go
An on-site shop sells classic Hard Rock T-shirts, limited-edition pins, hats, cups, magnets, and more.
The restaurant is wheelchair- and stroller-accessible.
Two of the city’s most popular tourist attractions are located in the area—the Monogahela and Duquesne inclines. These cable car rides take you up Mt. Washington where you can take in panoramic views of Pittsburgh.
How to get there
The Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh is in Station Square, just across the river from downtown Pittsburgh. It’s also accessible via public bus and the red, blue, and silver light rail lines.
When to get there

Things to do in Station Square
In addition to the Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh, Station Square boasts plenty of other shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Located in the South Shore neighborhood, along the Monongahela River, the complex features the Fountain at Bessemer Court, which offers a waterworks show with multi-colored water jets that are choreographed to music and soar into the air.
