How to Get There

Madame Tussauds Berlin is located on Unter den Linden near the Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor). Take the U-Bahn or S-Bahn line S1, S2, or S25 to Brandenburger Tor station, then walk a few minutes to the museum. If you’re driving, park in one of the fee-based spaces around the museum, or in a guest space in the underground garage of the nearby Westin Grand Hotel or Adlon Hotel.

When to Get There

Madame Tussauds Berlin is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 7pm. Last entry is an hour before closing. Spring and summer are the best times to visit Berlin (though it can be rainy, especially in May and June). Rates are often lower in fall and winter, when temperatures drop.

Brandenburg Gate

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit one of Berlin’s most recognized landmarks, the Brandenburg Gate—just steps from Madame Tussauds. Previously a symbol of a divided city, the gate separated East Berlin from West Berlin, geographically, politically, and psychologically. It was there where, in 1987, Ronald Reagan issued this command: “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” Now a symbol of unity, the Brandenburg Gate was opened to traffic on December 22, 1989.
