Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood
3663 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV, 89109
The Las Vegas Strip’s Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino comprises more than one mile (1.5 kilometers) of shops, restaurants, and live entertainment venues. Stores include big brands such as lululemon, Sephora, and H&M, and the centrally-located street offers respite from the casino floor.
The basics
You can escape the often-hot Las Vegas weather while exploring the Miracle Mile Shops. Plus, the mall features sights of its own, such as a surreal outside-but-actually-inside vibe, an indoor rainstorm that pours from a virtual sky, and even a fancy water fountain that, during its hourly shows, sprays water 50 feet (15 meters) into the air through fog and lights. You’ll also find live entertainment venues hosting a variety of shows, and have easy access to Planet Hollywood.
Things to know before you go
The rainstorm typically takes place Monday through Thursday on the hour, every half hour from Friday through Sunday.
Credit cards are accepted in most shops, bars, and restaurants.
The Miracle Mile Shops include more mid-priced stores as compared to the Esplanade at Wynn Las Vegas and Via Bellagio, which are home to designer high-end boutiques.
How to get there
The Miracle Mile Shops are located at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip, making it easily accessible from resorts in both directions. You’ll find plenty of rideshare services and taxis in Las Vegas. Free valet service and self-parking are also available at the shops for those getting around by car.
When to get there
Note that while the Miracle Mile Shops have relatively long hours, the restaurants and bars may not have the same operating times. Different shows at the Miracle Mile Shops take place every night; check the website for showtimes and to make a reservation. Family-friendly shows such as the “Nathan Burton Magic Show” typically take place earlier in the day. To avoid shopping crowds, try to visit on weekdays and during non-peak hours, such as early in the morning or later at night.
Other things to do at Planet Hollywood
In addition to the Miracle Mile Shops, the hotel is home to a 100,000-square-foot casino and the 7,000-seat Bakkt Theater (formerly known as the Zappos Theater), as well as magician Criss Angel’s show. At the rooftop pool, you’ll find FlowRider, a “wave in a box” where you can try surfing or boogie boarding in an enclosed space.
Ways to explore
For many visitors, the Miracle Mile Shops is the place for classic retail therapy. There’s certainly a lot to see—and buy—but it’s worth setting aside some time to experience the mall’s other offerings, too. There’s a daily indoor rain show that’s free to watch and comes complete with thunder, lightning, and fog. Live entertainment is at PH Live, V Theater, and the Saxe Theater. Tickets for those shows, which range from magic to family-friendly comedy to burlesque, are sold online and should be purchased in advance.
