RiseNY
New York City, NY
Billed as one of New York City’s top indoor attractions, the three-in-one RiseNY offers a captivating way for visitors to see the city’s famous sights, all while learning about its history and culture. Comprising an immersive film, seven themed gallery areas, and a 4D “flight” experience, RiseNY provides a perfect introduction for first-time visitors to the Big Apple.
The basics
Ideal for time-pressed travelers who want to see the best of New York in just 60–90 minutes, RiseNY offers a comprehensive way to discover the city. First up is its documentary film—narrated by actor Jeff Goldblum and screened within a recreation of New York’s first subway station—which takes visitors back to 1904. Next is its seven-part museum, with galleries dedicated to the city’s fashion, film, music, TV and radio, Wall Street finance, Broadway, and the famous skyline.
RiseNY’s grand finale is its 4D ride, which takes visitors soaring 30 feet (9 meters) up. Held within a 180-degree, 40-foot (12-meter) projection dome—and accompanied by wind, mist, and scents that make you feel genuinely immersed in the city—it offers perspectives on the sights you’d never otherwise experience.
