How to Get There
The nearest airport to Universal Orlando Resort is Orlando International. The park is located off I-4, and the route to the main parking garage is well-signed. Guests can choose general, prime, or valet parking upon arrival.
When to Get There
As the Theme Park Capital of the World, Orlando’s attractions get very busy during summer and winter holidays, as well as spring break. To avoid the biggest crowds, visit later in the week between Labor Day and Thanksgiving, from late November to mid-December, or during the weeks leading up to school spring breaks. Universal Studios Florida is a better rainy day option, as most of the attractions are indoors.
Parks at Universal Orlando Resort
Universal Orlando has multiple parks to choose from, making a multi-day ticket the ultimate experience. Park hop between Universal Islands of Adventure which offers several themed "islands" and major rides that nearly all come with height restrictions. Families with young kids will find more to do at Universal Studios Florida. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ is spread across these two parks, with Diagon Alley**™** in Universal Studios Florida and Hogsmeade™ in Universal Islands of Adventure. Universal Orlando Resort is located near International Drive, around 15 minutes from downtown Orlando. Visitors staying at Universal hotels often take advantage of complimentary bus transportation, but you can also travel by water taxi, rideshare, or drive yourself.
Driving
If driving to Universal Orlando Resort from Orlando International Airport, it takes around 20 minutes. Follow FL-528 W/FL-528 Toll W, then take Exit 75A for Universal Blvd. On-site parking is available, including accessible spaces.
Public transportation
If you're staying at a Universal hotel, use the Universal Shuttle Bus. Many nearby hotels also run regular shuttles to the parks. You can also take water taxis, which are especially convenient from resorts such as the Hard Rock Hotel.

If you want to avoid the afternoon rush, try to get to the park close to its opening time, then head for your favorite attraction.

Weekdays are usually a bit quieter than weekends, such as coming on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
