• Pets are welcome to visit but must be kept on leashes.

• Free wheelchair rentals are available on a first-come first-served basis.

How to get there

The Village of Baytowne Wharf is located in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort at 9300 Baytowne Wharf Boulevard in Miramar Beach. It’s accessible to hotel guests and the public via US Highway 98 and S. Sandestin Boulevard. Parking is free and a shuttle service runs during the summer and on special events.

When to get there

The shops, restaurants, attractions, and event schedules at the Village of Baytowne Wharf all have different hours of operation, so it’s best to plan your visit. Nearly everything is open on the weekends, which is also when the crowds are highest. Families should visit before sundown, as after that the nightlife takes on a more adult-oriented feel.

Enjoy the sunset down on Harborwalk Village

Whereas the Village of Baytowne Wharf’s nightlife gets going as the evening rolls in, Destin’s waterfront hub for shopping, dining, and entertainment maintains more of a family-friendly atmosphere. Harborwalk Village is a great place to watch the sunset and then have a family dinner followed by arcade games at Jester’s and American Fun Spots.
