Campground Overview

Check In

Upon entering the RV Park, proceed to the main entrance area near the dumpster. A brick wall is located there. This area is known as the Check-In Station. On the back side of the brick wall, you will find a gray waterproof folder containing permit tags. Locate your permit inside the folder and once you have your permit tag, proceed to your assigned campsite. Display the tag on the numbered post at your site

Reservations

Reservations must be made before check-in. Walk-ins are not permitted.To make a reservation, please call: 740-477-7806

Tobacco

The use of tobacco products is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to: Cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, snuff, E-cigarettes, vapes, chewing tobacco

Payment

Full payment is required to finalize the reservation

Alcohol

Alcohol is not permitted on property

Site Occupancy

Each site may accommodate 4–6 people maximum. No tents.

Weapons

Firearms and weapons are not permitted on property. This includes, but is not limited to: Firearms, explosives, knives, bows and arrows, and martial arts equipment

Pets

Pets must always remain on a leash when outside. Pets may not be left unattended outdoors unless caged or pinned. Owners are responsible for cleaning up and properly disposing of pet waste. No more than 2 pets per site.

Drugs

The use or possession of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited

Language

Guests are expected to maintain a respectful environment. Profanity is not permitted.

Fireworks

Fireworks are not permitted on property.

Long-Term Stays

Long-term stays are reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis by park management

Dress Code

Guests are expected to maintain modest clothing standards consistent with the Christian values of the institution. The following guidelines apply: No clothing displaying cult or occult symbols, no spaghetti strap shirts, no two-piece swimsuits that expose the midriff, and undergarments must not be visible.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Campfires

Fires must be contained within designated fire pits. Fire pits may not be moved. Local firewood must be used. No firewood is provided on property. Fires must never be left unattended.

Age Requirements

Reservations must be made by an adult age 21 or older. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Showers and Restrooms

The RV Park does not provide public shower houses or restrooms. Guests are responsible for personal hygiene within their RV or camper. Please plan accordingly.

Cleanliness

Campsites must be kept clean and orderly. All trash must be disposed of in the dumpster located at the front of the RV park. Camper skirting or permanent structures of any kind are not permitted. No clotheslines or hanging laundry outside. Guests are responsible for keeping their site area free of food or trash that may attract wildlife. Outdoor storage of household items, appliances, furniture, tires, or other clutter is not allowed. No flags, signs, or banners of any kind shall be permitted.

Sewer Hookup

Full sewage hookups are provided at all sites. Wastewater may only be discharged into the designated sewer connection. Sewer hoses must be securely attached to both the RV outlet and the site sewer inlet. Hoses must be in good condition and free of cracks or leaks. Dumping black or grey water onto the ground, into storm drains, or vegetation is strictly prohibited. The sewer inlet must remain capped when not in use.

Vehicles

A maximum of two vehicles per campsite is permitted. Vehicle repairs are not permitted on campground property. Parking on the grass is not permitted.

Mowing of Campsites

Guests staying longer than one week are responsible for maintaining the appearance of their campsite, including mowing and trimming the grass. OCU staff will mow all sites provided the grass is clear of personal belongings, such as lawn chairs, pet enclosures, coolers, or any other items that may interfere with maintenance. If personal belongings are not removed from the grass, the site will not be serviced, and guests will be responsible. A $50 maintenance fee will be applied each time a site requires maintenance outside of regularly scheduled mowing days.

Recreational & Motorized Vehicles

ATVs, golf carts, mopeds, and other motorized recreational vehicles are not permitted. E-bikes, bicycles, skateboards, and similar non-gas-powered devices are allowed. All operators must obey posted speed limits and follow all applicable road and traffic laws. All vehicles and devices are strictly prohibited from being operated on sidewalks

Water Regulator

Due to high water pressure at the campground, all campers are required to use a water pressure regulator when connected to site water hookups. Failure to use a regulator may result in damage to your equipment, for which the University is not responsible. If you do not have a water pressure regulator, they are available for purchase in the RV Park Office. The use of a water filter is not required but is strongly recommended.

Speed Limit

A speed limit of 10 mph is strictly enforced by OCU security throughout the property.

RV Age Policy

The campground follows a 10-year rule. Any RV or camper 10 years old or older must submit photos for approval.
