Campground Overview
The Middle Delaware Scenic and Recreational River offers 62 primitive campsites along the water. These sites are available for overnight paddling trips along the Delaware River. Reservations for these boat-in only sites can be made on Recreation.gov. For overnight vehicle parking, please visit https://www.nps.gov/dewa/planyourvisit/index.htm to register your vehicle.
Reservation Info
Boat-in only sites are reservable for overnight paddling trips on Recreation.gov. Sites are reserved by zone, not by individual sites, allowing for flexibility and spontaneity. Choose a zone in the trajectory of your trip, reserve a site, and pick a site on the spot within that zone while you float.
Rules
Fire/Stove Policy
Ground fires are prohibited. All campfires but be made and maintained in the provided fire rings. Portable stoves are permitted so long as no groundfires are needed.
Regulations Overview
Camping is limited to one night per campsite/zone. Camping is permitted in designated sites only. Sites are for extended, multi day paddling trips only. Sites can only be accessed by boat. Groundfires are prohibited. No glass containers or bottles are permitted on the Delaware River or within the campsites. All vessels must be taken completely out of the water and secured to ensure they are not swept downstream.
