10:30 pm to 7:00 am daily is the camps' quiet hours. STRICKLY ENFORCED

Vehicle Parking

All vehicles should be parked at least 5 feet off the road in campsite areas to allow large vehicles to pass "One vehicle per campsite" Extra vehicles can be parked in the main parking lot.

Camper Registration onSite

All registrations should be booked online. When you arrive check in with your camp host before unhooking. Pre-registered campers will have a reserved sign on their site post. If you have not pre-registered you will need to see the camp host BEFORE choosing a site or unhooking. All campers need to have the reserved sign or their camp receipt displayed on the signpost as soon as possible after arrival.

Golf cart ATV/UTV

Use inside the park is restricted to streets ONLY. All motor vehicles are NOT allowed on the trails, woods, or grassy areas. (maintenance and camp hosts are exempt) The driver must possess a valid driver's license. All other state laws apply to motorized vehicle operations. (IA Code 321.247) Violators will be reported to local authorities.

Pets

Pets must be on a leash at all times, not to exceed 6 feet in length. Pet owners are responsible for picking up all dog droppings. NO PETS ARE ALLOWED IN THE CABINS OR THE LODGE AT ANY TIME.

Fire rings

Please do not put cans, bottles, garbage, dog feces, or other non-flammable materials in the fire rings!!!! Do not move fire rings, all fires must be contained in the provided fire rings, and Never leave a fire unattended. Firewood is available for purchase at the camp. NO CUTTING WOOD FROM THE PARK TREES!

Cabin Rules

Check-in for cabins is after 3 pm Check-out is by 11 am NO PETS AND NO SMOKING IN THE CABINS Scout Cabin sleeps 7, Eagle Cabin sleeps 6, Cabin 1 sleeps 5, and Cabin 2 sleeps 4. Bedding and one set of towels are provided in cabins with water. You are required to complete the cleaning checklist when you leave - Cleaning supplies are provided. Volunteers will change to bedding and towels when you depart. Cabins need to be reserved and paid for by credit card online before arrival.

Rugs

ALL RUGS NEED TO BE KEPT ON THE GRAVEL! Do not cover the grassy areas with a rug.

Cancellation Policy

100% refund (minus rover pass fees) if canceled at least 14 days before your scheduled reservation 50% refund (minus rover pass fees) if canceled at least 7 days before your scheduled reservation no refund if canceled 6 days or less before your reservation

Pets

We love pets, and well-behaved pets are welcome in the camp area. We are a city park and city ordinances apply. Your pet must be on a leash at all times, not to exceed 6 feet in length. Pet owners are responsible for picking up all dog droppings immediately. (Do not dispose of pet dropping in the fire pits) NO PETS ARE ALLOWED IN THE CABINS OR THE LODGE AT ANY TIME. Visit the Dog Park at the SW Corner of the Park.

Vehicle Parking

All vehicles should be parked at least 5 feet off the road in campsite areas to allow large vehicles to pass. Oversized trucks, boats, all trailers need to be parked in the main parking lot. Golf carts may only be parked on gravel and or grass.

Trailers and Extra Vehicles

To keep the camping area enjoyable to all, extra vehicles, including trailers need to be parked in the main parking lot and not in the camping area. Oversized trucks will also be asked to park in the main parking lot. No trailers or vehicles may be left in the camping park after check-out time. If you choose to leave something behind after your check-out time it must be in the main parking lot and we are not responsible for its safety.

Golf Carts ATV/UTV Mini Bikes

Golf Carts. ATV/UTVs are allowed in the park and may be used ONLY on hard surface roads from SUNRISE to SUNSET. Use inside the park is restricted to streets ONLY. Golf Carts are NOT allowed on the bike trails, woods, grass or park service areas through the tent area. Drivers must possess a valid driver's license. Golf Carts and UTVs must follow the 10 mph speed limit and the 10:30 pm quiet time in the park. To go to town on the Designated Path (not on bike trail): Go north by scout cabin, cross bike trail, turn left follow dirt road, cross bike trail again , turn right and follow grass area beside bike trail, at the bench cross county bike trail, then turn left on path and follow path into town

Boats

Must be paddled or electrically propelled. No gas motors are allowed in the ponds. All boat passengers MUST wear life jackets. Launch boat at designated area.

Fishing

Anyone 15 and over should have a fishing license. No swimming or littering in the ponds is permitted.

Dump Station

The dump station is located just west of the park. From the entrance drive, proceed west and north approximately 3 blocks to Ash & Pfaltzgraff Streets. To exit- drive west to Oak Street and turn left to Highway 3. (signs are posted)

Storm Shelters

The storm shelters will provide protection in extreme weather. They are located NW of the shower house. They are dark and cool so we suggest taking a flashlight, jacket & weather radio. Sirens from Allison can be heard at the park if you are outside your RV.

Camper Registration

ALL registrations must be booked through and entered into our online system. If you need help navigating VisitWilderPark.com, your camp host can help walk you through making a reservation. All campers must have the reserved sign or their camp receipt displayed on the signpost. All holiday reservations must include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night stays.

Fire and Fire Ring

Fires may be made in designated areas only and never left unattended. Do not move fire rings. Burning bans apply unless otherwise notified.

Cancellation Policy

For reservations canceled more than 30 days before your expected arrival, we offer a full refund minus the Roverpass fees and platform fees. Reservations canceled up to 14 days in advance will be refunded at 50% minus Roverpass and platform fees. Any cancellations after that are not refundable. Note: All refund calculations exclude the RoverPass service fees and credit card processing, which are non-refundable.

Quiet Hours

10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily is the camps' quiet hours. STRICTLY ENFORCED. All non register camping guests must exit the park quietly.

Speed Limit

Please observe our 10 mph speed limit as a courtesy to ALL campers, especially those with small children.

Cabin Rules

Check-in for cabins is after 3 pm Check-out for cabins is 11 am NO PETS AND NO SMOKING IN THE CABINS. Bedding and Towels are NOT provided. Scout Cabin sleeps 6 (2 full-size beds and 2 twins), Eagle Cabin sleeps 5 (1 full-size bed and 3 twins), North Cabin sleeps 5 ( two full-size beds and 1 twin) and Cub Cabin (no water) sleeps 4 (1 full-size bed, one upper twin and one lower futon). Please complete the cleaning checklist when you leave - cleaning supplies are provided. If the cleaning checklist is not completed or the cabin is left a mess or damaged, you will be charged a cleaning fee of $50. Any damages will be charged at current pricing for repairs. The cabin must be occupied by at least one adult over 21 at all times. Cabins need to be reserved and paid for by credit card online before arrival.
