Best Western Murfreesboro

Not an enjoyable stay at THIS Best Western, Here's why: #1) At check in, the woman at the desk complained that the rates I paid in advance when I booked the trip were too low it should have been more. I had to show her my receipt that showed PAID IN FULL. I was asked by her if I were a Best Western loyalty member which I said that I was. I wasn't very happy about the encounter at the front desk. #2) I had to ask for a TV remote after arriving at the room, NO remote and TV would not work without it. Only able to watch several channels all others were scrambled. News and weather are pretty important when a person travels. They were not available. I did get the local news and weather twice. #3) the laundry corridor was very dirty, and the dryer did not work as it should have; it tumbled the cloths but did not dry them. I informed the woman at the front desk, and her reply was OK. she did not offer to refund my $ 2.00 for the coin op dryer and told me no refunds. I had to plead with her to finally get the dry using their machine. #4) The afternoon before checking out I asked how many Loyalty points I had earned for the week's stay at this Best Western, the same woman told me I had earned none because I booked thru a third party. if I had booked directly with them and paid the correct price I would have earned the loyalty points. I booked the trip thru AAA and paid for it well in advance and was never told by the hotel at check in that it wasn't allowed, even though she had asked if I were a loyalty member. Best Western hotels are generally a good place to stay. This one however was not. I've always been awarded points whether I booked direct over the phone or thru a third party. I won't be staying at this Best Western in the future.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel! Room was filthy, holes in the sheets, burn hole in one of the comforters. Sheets were dirty on the 2nd bed. Shower curtain was too short and dirty. Holes in wall. Just Disgusting all the way around.

My experience was absolutely horrible during my short stay here. The room was FILTHY. Bugs crawling on the ceiling, windows, curtains and window ledge. Stains on the pillow cases and towels. Dirt and dust all built up on the window unit for A/C and heat, which was being held together by duct tape. The sink was severely clogged and not draining properly. And there were dead insects of some sort on the floor. I had to lay a walkway of towels all along the floor because I refused to walk on it without some sort of barrier. The pillows (for a king size bed) were a joke. Not even king size pillows. You can hear every single car that passes on the interstate behind the building. Awful, Awful experience at this motel. I will never stay here again.
