Best Western Plus Oklahoma City Yukon

This hotel is clean, has knowledgeable friendly staff, and is in a perfect location.

The only reason that I gave it a 2 star is because there weren’t any bed bugs. I had driven 2400 miles over the course of 5 days and at the point of checking in, I was exhausted and not feeling good. I always make a point to check the mattress ,and if there is mattress cover I check it as well for bed bugs. The mattress cover had thick black stuff on two different corners, and there was a nasty orange colored stain as well on the top of the mattress pad with the number 2 written by it, They could hide that part, however, they tuck all the other bedding around the stains, which you could be in contact with. So, I had my bed clothes on, and tried to call the phone desk, at least 6–8 times, but the dial tone was one of being off the hook. So, I tried to call on my cell phone with no answer. I had to get my street clothes back on. In the meantime I was on with the Best Western customer service to escalate the issue. The clerk at the desk gave me a key to another room, but the dog smell was pungent, so I didn’t stay in that room. They always say they’re going to escalate the issue, but realty they do nothing, I stayed the night before in a competitor hotel which was extra clean. I also stayed at a Best Western where tthe rags were so stained that I wouldn’t use it. Then I decided to at least try to get in the shower, but there was something black that that came out the faucet. Moral of the story, Best Western is subpar from what they used to be. I suggest avoiding this hotel brand when possible.
