The hotel was booked for us by Auto Club.. We were charged for parking when told it was free. The lobby is too small and not welcoming or a pleasant place to relax. The decor was practically non existent and terrible with orange paint throughout, no rugs, and sparse unattractive furniture! There were several add on fees and it was very expensive for just a lousy room and we will not recommend nor return!

Based on my comments I would expect some sort of a refund. WHat I omitted to state was that after we left we called this hotel to complain, we were told that there was a $100.00 refund coming, for some specified reason & when I called, as it hadn’t arrived they said was a mistake & was already included in our stay…. Figure that one out…
Truthfully, I wouldn’t stay here again. The pictures online look great and the lobby looks nice but room-wise, it had a musty smell and they had plumbing problems. The sink worked fine when we got there but the next morning, it stopped draining. We had early access passes to Universal so we were in a hurry and didn’t have a chance to tell them. When we got back that night, it was “fixed” but they had a bucket under the sink because it was leaking. Nobody spoke to us about it, nor did they leave a note explaining what was going on, which I thought was weird. Also, if you’re planning on using the indoor pool, please note that you have to walk across the garage into this room that looks like it was a former storage space or office room, converted into an indoor pool. They had a ton of dirty towels in the hamper but none on the shelves. While we were there, we had to wait on the concierge a few times because they were on the phone talking to unsatisfied customers….I completely see why. Their only saving grace is the proximity to Universal Studios.
As soon as we arrived we noticed the Faucet in the bathroom sink came apart. We did report it. The following morning, we had no water pressure, and there were ants in the bathtub. We reported that, and I sent a letter to them, have not heard back. Our friends stayed the entire weekend as well, and also experienced no water on their last day. The lobby bar was never open the entire weekend. That was one of the amenities we went for.
