The staff was very friendly, we even got an upgrade of our room. The wait to check in was good. Food options were varied. The pool was closed, which was a bit of a let down. I truly enjoyed my stay, my only bad experience was our shower had a large clump of dark hair in the corner.
Booked one reservation with two rooms over four months ago through AAA website to attend an event at the hotel. After waiting for over 30 minutes in the check-in line, I was informed it would be an additional $350.00 for adjoining rooms (this was a “deal” since it is normally $700.00!) or an additional $45.00 for rooms in the same tower. No thanks! The resort fee was $52.10 per night per room; self-parking was another $18.00 per night. The WIFI and cell service in the rooms were so weak, we were unable to text family members in the hotel. The room was dated (think 1980s decor) and gloomy (view of rooftop and a concrete wall). The room has a refrigerator, but it is merely a vending machine of overpriced drinks and snacks without space for even a small water bottle. There was a Keurig in the room but no coffee pods. Two paper thin bath towels in the bathroom (plenty of small hand towels but no spare bath towels). The hotel does not have any water refill stations so leave your reusable water bottles at home! Total final cost was $1029.89 for one night for two barely mediocre rooms (discounted AAA rate, taxes, fees, and self-parking for one car). Please do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!
