Coast Seattle Downtown Hotel by APA

First off let me start by saying for the amount of money you pay they milk every penny from you. I HAVE NEVER had to pay to park at a hotel before. Be prepared to spend $56 to park in the only garage parking lot near the hotel. The elevators for maybe 4 people and the buttons barely work. Granted it looks appealing, but that’s because it was a former Hilton hotel. The mattress was hard, the pillows are probably early 2000? For $400/night- you’d expect better everything. Not worth it. Upon checkout- 3 people working the desk answering calls and checking people in and out at the same time. Extremely unprofessional. I wanted a receipt and instead of getting me one she said it was prepaid and proceeded to talk on the phone. Typical Seattle behavior. Do not recommend

The room was nice and clean. However, the elevators were out of order during our stay. Also, the entrance is awkward because you need to go up the elevator to reach the lobby and hotel agents.

The first time I stayed there i got the cheapest rate possible and boy was it noticeable, the room was not clean thoroughly and there was still hair leftover from the previous guest(s) view out the window was not existing. Second when we asked the front dest to clean the room while we left for the day upon our return we noticed that the door was not closed properly and we were right next to the elevator!!! To be fair when I came back from my trip two weeks later my second room was way better. I’ll be getting executive level room from this point forward if I ever decide to stay at Hilton again.
