It would have been nice to know they were remodeling the whole hotel. There were no curtains on the windows, just black plastic taped to the windows. The water in the shower only got lukewarm at best. The breakfast on Sunday morning had no protein, biscuits with no gravy and fried potatoes for the warm options. AAA should do a better job of checking out the hotels before giving a rating.

In the middle of renovation was never told though. The room had just been painted and was strong. Also had no mirror in bathroom but they did hang one up. The hallways were just concrete. No room number on our room
