April 2023 stayed four days meanwhile October 2023 stayed on night. Comparison easy because same year and six months apart. Rooms clean and overall appearance favorable. Short drive to my destination. October 2023 NO Working Heater in my room and unwilling to transfer me to another room. Yes received bed comforter to stay warm. October 2023 Free Breakfast offered = cold cereal, no milk, no hot beverages, no eggs, yes seasoned potatoes, yes sausage links. Where was bread or butter or jelly? Less available than six months prior. While I did not go for swim either month(s) their indoor pool was under repair. Guessing budget tight or workers unavailable. Paid low price and got low return despite their advertisement.

They cancelled our reservation. We arrived at 9 pm which is what we normally do and they claimed since they didn't hear from us by 6 pm the reservation was cancelled. The last time we stayed here I was skeptical of the operation of the hotel. One housekeeping employee was available when we were checking out and she was not able to check us out and give us a receipt, which I requested. This is a PRIVATELY OWNED, Country Inn and Suites and I do not wish it to reflect on the Chain as we have never had problems with others, just this one. Needless to say, they didn't have another room for us--apparently sold our room out from under us!. I reviewed the contract when I arrived home and there was nothing to state the above. THe only statement regarding concellation was that we were to call by 4 PM if WE Wished to cancel the reservation to avoid charges. Nothing about their claim to give the room away by 6. We informed AAA when we arrived home of the situation.

I KNOW ITS HARD TO FIND PEOPLE TO WORK. BUT WE CHECKED IN ON LABOR DAY DAY, I`M SURE THE WORKERS ARE ALOUD TO TAKE CHILDREN TO WORK WITH THEM OR VISIT THEM.... THE TWO CHILDREN WASN`T PROBLEM, EITHER THE HUSBAND OR BOY FRIEND OF WORKER WAS THERE ALSO, HE WAS IN OFFICE, I DON`T THINK ANYONE ELSE SHOULD BE IN THERE, WITH VISITORS CHARGE CARD INFO AVAILABLE...NOT SECURE

Service personnel are awesome! When “no signal” screen came on our TV, a rep came immediately to replace connection box. When that didn’t work, he brought us key cards to move down the hall. When we did not like the two queens and no comfort chair room instead of our king room, he then moved us into a suite by bringing us the keys. In all of this he was off duty and initially on his way home. This property is a great location and well staffed. Breakfast selections are also great. Will be there again on our next trip.
