Days Inn By Wyndham Ridgefield

We were sadly disappointed with the quality of the room and overall facilities. Our room clearly had not been conscientiously cleaned and was in desperate need of housekeeping. Unfortunately we arrived late at night or I would have requested a different room or housekeeping before moving in. The floors and surfaces were dirty, the curtains were unhemmed and the furniture was badly stained and frayed. The toilet was not securely fastened to the floor. The microwave was rusted. The coffee maker was missing parts. The fridge had been left open. We killed 4 insects before retiring for the night. The phone also did not work to call reception. The breakfast was very sparse with no protein options and very little choice (only 1 juice, 1 fruit, etc.) For the price, it was disappointing.

Worse hotel stay, probably in 40 years. Nothing worked except the bed. No hot water at night, it did come on in the morning,, not sure door locked from the outside, phone didn't work to call the desk, no tea in the breakfast area,, no tissues,, coffee maker had truly disgusting liquid in it etc. I got there around 10pm so too late to do anything about it. In the morning I spoke with desk person,, not concerned at all about any of it.. I was amazed it was aaa approved or even acceptable for days inn flag.

No housekeeping the 3 nights I stayed. I had to go and request coffee for the coffee maker and clean towels which I only got one day. The room was large but not very clean. The pet charge of $30/night was outrageous. The charge for Friday night was outrageous.
