If there was a choice to give 0 stars I would have used that rating. When we walked into the room I wanted to cry and go home! There was no working ice machine in the middle of a heat wave. The room had no microwave or refrigerator. There was mold on the shower curtain. Hard to assess Wi-Fi. We checked out 1 hour after checking in. Cancelled the rest of the 4-day stay and did not stay the one night we paid for. Found a much nicer place to stay (the Publik House Inn & Lodge) just a few miles away. It was worth the extra room cost which was not that much more. Only plus was the pleasantness for the desk clerk who seemed used to people checking out. At the new motel, they said they had three other guests who checked out of the Days Inn after checking in just within the last week.

The check-in person took my driver's license and never gave it back and did not try to contact me. I had to go back to the hotel after we left once I realized it was missing. The bedding looked old and worn. The bathrooms looked like they had not been cleaned very well. There were minature size bed pillows that were hard as a rock.
