We are Marriott Lifetime Platinum members. We have stayed in many Fairfield Inns over the years. This one ranks at the bottom for us. The van service is contracted out so the van drivers are not part of the staff. They don’t have the Marriott hospitality training. Calling the hotel from the airport for a van pick up. Our call wasn’t answered after 50 rings. Tried again later and the call was answered but the person had an accent so strong we could not understand her instructions as to where to go to be picked up. Arriving at the hotel at dinner time, we were informed as to where we could walk to a row of restaurants. The sidewalk ended in bushes before we reached a restaurant. But, Wendy’s was next door in another direction. Breakfast had the normal Fairfield Inn menus. But, the coffee was cold, they ran out of cream cheese for the bagels, they ran out of waffle batter, etc. the breakfast bar attendant spoke very good Spanish but English…not so good. Our room. The baseboard in the closet had fallen down and was laying on the rug. The body wash bottle in the shower was full, but the pump didn’t work. Outside there were ground lights to light up the outside of the building. They were all broken and laying in disrepair. I approached the front desk to report what I was seeing. They had the lobby TV blaring so loud we could not carry on a conversation. WWE was playing and wrestlers were being interviewed who were using profane language. I asked that it be turned down or off so I could speak to the front desk ladies. They asked how my stay was? I said that there were maintenance issues. They could have cared less and did not take my report of issues. I love Marriott. Just not this one.

Hotel had major renovations going on. No breakfast was available. Couldn’t shut off a/c in the room. Front desk clerk sent up maintenance person who did not speak English. Epic failure. Front desk clerk was on her cellphone arguing with someone and said there was nothing she could do. Ask for extra bath towel and it was never delivered.

Room ok, BUT..AT NIGHT AND IN MORNING...the shower temps was not good at all, took a long time just to get to luke warm. Have stayed at many hotels and first time 'we have ever complained about water temp being so poor. Very disappointing.
