Hampton Inn by Hilton Spokane Airport

It was good. We got placed in a handicapped room due to the hotel being full, which was not what we wanted because it had a shower for clients in wheelchair, which resulted in water spilling out onto bathroom floor. We use bathtubs to soak in routinely at home so this was a minor disappointment. Also the breakfast wasn't as good as we recall from our prior visit to this hotel. We would like more oatmeal in the cooker, and better food for vegan and gluten-free clients (we are).

We stay at this hotel frequently as we visit family in the area. Usually for over a week at a time. Last two visits have been lacking quality we expect for room we pay at minimum $1.3K for. Had to ask repeatedly for shower gel to be filled both trips. This last time the elevator was broken entire 8 days of our stay! Being on 3rd floor it was not fun to haul our stuff up and down 3 flights of stairs. Signs on outside entrances close to our room saying they are broken. Really poor service and would not recommend.

Everything was clean and well managed. Didn't use the pool, but it was one of the bigger and roomier pools I've seen at a hotel. Our room was clean, comfy bed with a variety of pillows to choose from, bathroom had nearly instant hot water, nice towels, the climate (temp) control in the room was simple and responsive. My only complaint about ALL hotels these days is the one-option bedding: you get a comforter and a sheet. The comforter is fine for women, but men usually roast under it. There's no layering possible. It's either ON or OFF. So you have to monkey around with the temperature control and negotiate with the spouse to find something that works for both. After staying in more hotels than I can count, this is continually my pet peeve.
