Holiday Inn Exp Stes Abingdon By Ih

This hotel was a pleasant stay for this very picky hotel guest! It is fairly new and was well maintained. Our room was an even number and faced out to a farm field with horses! We thought we might hear the nearby interstate, but it was very quiet. We were in town to do the Creeper trail. The location is perfect. A few minutes from the center of downtown Abbingdon, with a very nice park complex next door where you can access and walk or run the bottom start of the Creeper trail. Across the street is a brand new grocery store and strip center. We had a suite with 2 queens and the room was huge! Our room was also very clean and the maintenance guy knocked on our door just as we arrived to put clean filters into the ac unit. The free breakfast had plenty to offer if you are in need of that including hot items, a pancake maker, chobani yogurts, etc. The gym was very clean with water and towels and well maintained equipment and a good weight rack. We would definitely stay here again.
