Holiday Inn Port St Lucie

I needed to make daily linen and soap runs. The housekeeping and maintenance staff spoke little or no English. Bathroom was too small and had some lights not working. The desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pool and hot tub were outstanding. The restaurant's food and service were very good.

This hotel was so bad we checked out a day early. Our room was old, outdated, had peeling paint, cracked tiles and grout around the tub and the entire room smelled musty. The room had only 4 electric receptacles and none reachable from the nightstands. Room description included a microwave but there was none. The newly renovated pool had been closed for repairs before we arrived and I didn't find out until we went to use it and found the gate chained and locked. A hotel pool is important to us during the hottest month of the year in FL so had we known prior we would have booked elsewhere. . There were no signs or prior notice about the pool closure provided even at checkin. This hotel is obviously mismanaged and in need of serious renovation.
