Good service, easy check in & check out. Would have given 5 stars except when I originally asked about the fee for dogs they just said it was $25 - not $25 per dog. I just think the reservationist should have mentioned that.

One of the key cards didn’t work. The other card worked but the door was in disrepair such that you had to put a shoulder into it to get it open. The bed was among the worst I have ever slept on and the temperature control for the bath had to be coaxed to find an acceptable temperature. It wasn’t as simple as going all the way to hot and backing off until the temperature was right. If you went all the way to hot it was Luke warm. The television also would do some sort of auto update about 5 times a hour. On an upside the staff was pleasant at check-in. Although a bit indifferent at check-out. I was hesitant to go with La Quinta Inn due to a bad experience years ago but thought I’d give them another try. They are still terrible so I will not be using them ever again.

Clean room. Good breakfast. Pool and spa were closed for maintenance with no compensation. Fire alarm went off around 10 pm and everyone had to evacuate. No apologies and no compensation.
