La Quinta Inn Tucson East

Had a room with a sink that wouldn’t drain and bath facet that was hard to turn off. The patio are was noisy at night with loud guest outside. The breakfast area was poorly run with the staff more untested in looking at their phones than taking care of it. I had to tell them the coffee and milk were out. I had to scrape the bottom of the egg container to get anything and had the last of the sausage. Messy tables could have been cleaned. AAA needs to take their diamond rating off. Paint was peeling off railing. Don’t stay here unless price is your only factor.

Absolutely disgustingly FILTHY!!!!! The first room was beyond filthy the toilet seat was only attached on on side, the room smelled like cigarette smoke the carpet looked as though it hadn't been changed since 1970 and so did the walls!! The carpet was frayed, the bathtub well..... Good God just disgusting!!! the bathroom floor had not been vacuumed i'm sure. The room was all the way around the back of the facility on the bottom floor with the door on the outside. I felt completely UNSAFE!! I went back to the desk told him all about the room he gave me another room... not much better. The entire place looks as though it has not been updated... at least on the inside since the 1970's... and smells old and smokey... I always bring flip flops when I travel, I never walk on carpet... just because.. I have NEVER had the bottom of my flip flops filthy black after a few night say at a hotel.. I have stayed at many LaQuinta's, I have never experienced the FILTH that I experienced in this one. Actually I have never experienced filth like this in ANY of the well known hotel chains that are all in about the same price point. The person that took the website picture and wrote the bio needs and academy award.... I think the Corporate people of LaQuinta should do a surprise inspection of this place, then ask themselves would I stay here?? While the lobby is old and gross..... The rooms are Waaaaaay Worse!!!!!!! I NEVER write reviews on anything!!.... but I have been ****** since I got there because I paid $583 non refundable (which by the way) I do all the time when I travel.. to stay in a filthy disgusting hotel that is NOTHING like any other LaQuinta I have ever stayed in.... There are soooo many more things I can say about this place... NONE of them good... but wanted to give a heads up to anyone who normally stays at LaQuinta's that this place is Disgusting!!!!
