This 1875 waterfront sea captain’s mansion—once home to a direct descendant of a Mayflower passenger—offers a blend of historic charm and modern comfort. Each guest room is individually decorated with cozy, homey touches, and many feature electric fireplaces for added warmth and ambiance. Guests can dine in the elegant waterfront dining room or relax in the tavern and on the deck, all overlooking scenic Town Cove. Thoughtful amenities include complimentary bottled water and snacks, ultra-soft microfiber sheets, and plush robes. Additional free treats—like soft drinks, snacks, and ice cream novelties—are available in the common area. Adding to the inn’s mystique, investigators from a television show have visited the property to explore reports of paranormal activity, particularly in two guest rooms rumored to be haunted. Guest’s are typically not placed into these rooms unless they request it. Smoke free premises. 11 units. 5 stories (no elevator), interior corridors.
