AAA Diamond Inspector Notes
The serene greens throughout this hotel resemble a casual day in a park. The trendy rooms feature crisp white beds, red wall accents and brass fixtures. The room TV pulls out for many viewing angles. Located right next to the T-Mobile Arena, this is a great place to stay for hockey games or concerts. Smoke free premises. 2605 units. 25 stories, interior corridors.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel because a tour we were taking departed from there. I had no issues with the rooms or the hotel itself as the room was vry basic, but clean and well kept, but I did have an issue about being nickel and dimed and their doing their best to force you to spend money on overpriced "everything" in the hotel. First of all, during the day we were sight seeing, but even after paying $250/night for the room they charged a mandatory $50/night activity fee. I know that this is common in resort areas, but I had no intension of using the pool, which was the only activity they offered anyways. So in reality, I paid $100 for the privilege of using a pool for two days, which I had no intension of using (I didn't travel 1800 miles to go swimming). If you are thinking that you can grab a few things from a grocery store and save some money on meals because the food costs here (and throughout Las Vegas) are stupid expensive you would be wrong. There is no microwave available for guest use anywhere in the hotel and if you want to use a refrigerator, they will bring one to your room, for an extra charge of course. I enjoyed our time in the city, and this hotel was a convienient place to call home for two nights, but I cannot picture any other circumstance where I would once again spend so much for so little.

Room was decent but we had a couple of hiccups. We arrived around 2:45pm for check in to find out that check in could be from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. It depends on when the room is ready. They staff said they would text me when our room is ready. We'll, around 9:00pm, no text. I went back and the staff said that they are not sure why we didn't receive the text as it didn't go out. Early Saturday morning, the hotel alarms wake us up. The parking was $18/day and when we were entering, I guess the arms were broke which had us waiting for about 12 minutes for the resolution. Maybe we came on a tough day but it was just ok.
