The room was small, not what we expected from a 'Suites' hotel. The room had inadequate lighting and poorly placed lamps. For example, there was a small table in one corner of the room, but no light nearby, making that space useless. The beds weren't comfortable; the mattresses sloped. The breakfast was a small improvement over a continental breakfast. There was no dedicated parking lot and a sign for the parking lot shared with several other businesses warned: "Not responsible for damages....." Also, the printer for guests wasn't working and the desk clerk noted it hadn't been working the day before, either.

Someone was smoking in a room nearby. The odor was evident in the room and even more so in the hallway.
