Spoke with Nim to arrange for late check-in. The interaction was very sterile over the phone, and conversation promptly ended without a social cue such as "goodbye". That piece of customer service needs to be improved. Originally requested a non-smoking room. I returned to the desk after they had placed me in a smoking room. Fortunately, the staff on duty were absolutely polite, respectful, and understanding, and helped me change rooms. My room had a power outlet out, but I also happened to be there and observed contractors on-site beginning to repair/upgrade rooms.
