Rooms are nice and clean, but no frills and NO BREAKFAST. We booked this room on AAA because it was the only place that offered breakfast, but when we got there, they said no breakfast. (AAA needs to update their site since breakfast is a deal breaker for us). We spent an extra $50 on coffee and breakfast each morning elsewhere, so I am not sure how much we actually saved on the room since we typically get a room elsewhere that includes a free breakfast. We were there for one week, and had a nice stay/rooms were clean. But they offer a slightly lower priced rooms with the un-said understanding that there are no room cleanings, you have to take out your own trash mid-week and you have to go ask for TP, soap and fresh towels when needed. They use soap in a bottle (ours was empty the first day) so we had to go ask for more. (Not a big deal, but I ended up going to target for bar-soap since I like bars instead of liquid soap. Just a preference. I also bought some TP since theirs is the one-ply really flimsy stuff. Again, no big deal but added a tiny bit more to the cost. Shampoo and conditioner in the room were better than most hotels. Since the shampoo is the same bottle as used for the previous guests, I always worry a little bit about cleanliness of the product since strangers do weird stuff and the cap easily came off. But the shampoo and conditioner worked great and my hair felt smooth which is unusual for hotel products. When we got there they informed us the room we booked wasn't available, so they gave us a different one with one bed instead of two. It worked fine since the kids were staying with my parents and one bed was enough. Every day our key-card kept de-activating and we kept getting locked out of our room, so we had to keep going to the front desk to get it reset every day for both of our cards. (Not sure why, but not a big deal. Maybe because they switched our room? Again, not a big deal.) TP holder was broken and sink did not drain. PLus when taking a shower, the water spilled out onto the floor and ran across the room no matter how many times I made sure the shower door was closed. There was plenty of free parking, the pool was nice and nobody was at the pool each time we went. It was not heated, but our Washington kids didn't mind the cold water. (It was "refreshing" but someone from a warmer climate might not like the cold.) Outside the room: The bathroom downstairs in the lobby was out of TP all week and didn't appear to get cleaned. Again, not a big deal since we headed to our room for bathroom use while swimming. The laundry room was kind of gross, but machines did a fine job of cleaning clothes ($5 a load). The ******** set by the pool was shot, so the kids could not play. We were afraid of splinters getting into hands or eyes, since the bean bags had a bunch of splinters in them from the old shredded boards. So again, not a big deal since we weren't spending much time at the hotel. Overall it was a nice stay, but you have to know this is bare-bones, no frills, less expensive/clean room with a comfy bed. The hotel itself is not a destination, but maybe great for a business traveler who just wants a comfy bed with a clean room.
Very clean and comfortable.
Coffee machine didn’t work. Only 1 disposable cup for 2 people, 2 nights. Only 1/2 roll of toilet paper, no extra roll. Pool open but key did not open gate. One of our two room keys quit working.
