This contemporary hotel is located in the bustling mid-Wilshire district of the city. On site is a greenhouse-style restaurant, bar and nightclub. Stylish guest rooms boast a chic industrial feel. Wilshire, noted as one of the most iconic boulevards, runs through eight distinct neighborhoods starting from downtown and ending in Santa Monica. Hotel was nice but there is a few things I didn't like. First off they charge ~$60/day for valet parking which is ridiculous! We ended up using valet the first day and then self-parked at a nearby garage for way cheaper (shout out Central Plaza garage on Wilshire Blvd, only a 4 min walk from the hotel. Secondly, there was a $30 amenity fee upon check out which is really unnecessary in my opinion because there were little to no amenities. No kettle or tea/coffee in the rooms, there is a fridge but it's filled to the brim with an expensive mini bar and if you take stuff out of it you'll be charged. Thirdly, if you end up getting a room that's facing the street be prepared for loud cars revving their engines late into the night (2-4 am) which definitely effects your ability to get a good nights sleep! All in all, I'd probably stay somewhere else next time with better amenities and parking, despite the hotel being good quality and clean.
It’s ridiculous that I book a room for two and each person has to pay 50 dollars to park their car.
