Top Notch Inn

This review only pertains to rooms 136 & 137 which are not contiguous with the rest of the rooms at the property. The rooms entrance are very close to Malloy Avenue next to the corner of busy US 2. Room 137 seems to be ADA accessible. These rooms are extremely noisy due to their proximity to the roads. Even with the room fans on constantly at night, highway sounds are quite noticeable from the busy US2. If you have the curtains of the windows raised all you will see is traffic on US2. Parking is across Malloy Ave. in a restaurant parking lot. If this is an ADA room it seems problematic to cross a road to get to your room in a wheelchair. The bathroom of the room has only a very narrow ledge above the sink to place items. There is no other place in the bathroom to place items except on the top of the toilet. The only mirror is above the bathroom sink which cannot reflect anything mid body down. The main room has no modern electronic outlets for charging and only a few available electrical outlets on the wall. The remainder of the hotel have rooms which are well off the road and in a traditional, internal courtyard. They seem well kept and nice. These two rooms are poor step children to the others at the site. I do not believe we were given any sort of discount for the less than ideal location.

Room was very clean upon arrival, staff was very friendly and helpful during check in and check out process! I would definitely stay here again.
