Travelodge San Diego Downtown

I would have rated a ZERO star but it wouldnt allow it. This hotel catches your attention by saying its by Wyndham. This is by far a false narrative, if not Wyndham has very POOR standards and it would be a shame that they allow their name to get smeared by such a trashy hotel. When you get in the room, there was holes in the drywall, there was missing baseboard throughout the room, the bathroom was so bad we wouldnt even take a shower in it, we left very early and took a shower at home. The tub was very old and had spots all in it that made it look like they were roaches. The ceiling in the bathroom was almost falling apart. We stayed in room 107 the handicap room nearest the front office. We stayed their one night for the Padre / Dodger game thinking wow what a great price for a Wyndham hotel near Petco Park, I recommend NOT staying here. I wish they would give my money back because it wasnt worth $10. The parking is horrendous unless everyone drives a very small compact car or smart car. I drive a silverado and my truck almost impeded the parking space in front of me. I would have stayed at Navy Lodge but rooms were not available so had no choice.
