This trek's slower pace & shorter daily mileage means plenty of time to explore the culture and traditions in the Lares Valley. From the alpine villages you’ll descend into the Sacred Valley, visit the famous salt mines, explore Ollantaytambo, a 3,5000 year old living Inca village, then train to Machupicchu town. The next day, tour to Machu Picchu archeological site with your expert, local indigenous guide, this will be richer because of all the information you get in the Sacred Valley tour.
