During the winter months when boat tours are not available, the itinerary will replace the boat experience with Journey Behind the Falls, allowing you to explore Horseshoe Falls up close. - The Maid of the Mist will be open to the public from mid-April to the end of October (depending on the freezing conditions of the river). After the boat is closed, the itinerary will be replaced by the Journey Behind the Falls (including tickets).

- Tour duration includes visit times, travel, traffic, and driving between locations.
