August 20 – Open Day and special opening hours at the Parliament Building On August 20, 2025, there will be an open day at the Parliament Building to celebrate the founding of the state. Between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., visitors will be able to view the grand staircase, the dome hall, and the Holy Crown free of charge. Due to high interest, queues are expected. Guided tours of the Parliament Building will also depart from the Visitor Center as usual. Tickets for this tour can be purchased on our website. If you are in Budapest, you must visit the Parliament, as it is Budapest's number one attraction. We provide an excellent service with audio guided tours. You can walk inside the walls of the Parliament and learn the full history of the building, an unmissable experience in Budapest!
